March 2012 – On Wednesday, 28 March 2012, the mayor of Heerhugowaard, Han ter Heegde, and the chairman of the Metaalunie, Michaël van Straalen, handed out Corporate Social Responsibility certificates to Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard, Verzinkerij Kampen, Verzinkerij Wolvega and Poedercoating Hoogeveen. A demonstration of the fact that the ROTO surface treatment companies incorporate corporate social responsibility in their business policies.

March 2012 – The University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) is one of the largest hospitals in the Netherlands. Patients, visitors and members of staff want to keep dry as they walk from the North car park to the UMCG, so a covered walkway has been installed. Various construction materials and tubes for this new roofing were hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Wolvega and then powder coated by Poedercoating Wolvega.

December 2011 – A striking building has risen right next to the A9 motorway near Heemskerk. Its three storeys can accommodate a showroom, offices, businesses or shops. The diamond-shaped tube structure has been treated with the Duplex Route: hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Wolvega, followed by powder coating at Poedercoating Wolvega.

November 2011 – The new DSK complex in the Amsterdam Neighbourhood in the east of Haarlem was completed recently. It was built around the DSK football fields and its consists of a high-rise tower with rented social accommodation (De Spits) and a building comprising private flats and a car park (De Flank). Verzinkerij Wolvega hot-dip galvanised the fencing for the balconies and the stairs in the stairwells before they were powder coated by Poedercoating Wolvega.

September 2011 – The students at De Wingerd in Damwoude (in the municipality of Dantumadeel) have got a new school. The school for children with special learning needs, from toddlers to 18 year olds, is a single-storey building with a surface area of almost 3,800 m2. Verzinkerij Wolvega hot-dip galvanised the steel structure. The prominent white pillars and profiles have been treated with the Duplex Route and powder coated by Poedercoating Wolvega after galvanisation.

August 2011 – The 'Blikmikker' has been developed in an attempt to make it more attractive to recycle aluminium. The 'Blikmikker' is a refuse container with a basket on top, which people can use when taking aim to throw their cans in the bin. The 'Blikmikker' is made of two steel components: the container and the basket. The container was treated with the Duplex system, which involves first hot-dip galvanizing the steel by Verzinkerij Wolvega, then powder coating them by Poedercoating Wolvega. The basket was not powder coated.

July 2011 – As soon as spring is in the air boats are hauled out of their winter storage, loaded on to trailers and driven to marinas all over the country. A special trailer was needed in the style of this pink Waterspoor 707 dinghy, so the trailer was treated with the duplex route system: first, hot-dip galvanized by Verzinkerij Wolvega and then powder coated by Poedercoating Wolvega in the distinctive pink RAL 4003 tint.

March 2011 – Verzinkerij Wolvega, Centrizink Wolvega and Poedercoating Wolvega have a modern transport fleet. They use it to pick up materials up to 3.5 metres wide and 25 m long from clients and, after completion of the conservation work, return it to the right place on time. Because more and more clients are turning to this transport service, the trucks have a fixed weekly itinerary that breaks down according to region.

December 2010 – Tilburg-West is the location for the Avia housing area consisting of houses and flats. The architecture of the Avia area has a modern warm look with the emphasis on quality. The flats have roomy balconies, and balcony fencing with a clean design. The fencing was treated using the Duplex Route: it was galvanised by Verzinkerij Wolvega and then powder coated by Poedercoating Wolvega.

November 2010 – Safety concerns have led to a rapid increase in railings around school playgrounds and other play areas; however these railings are often rather unimaginative. A new model of steel railings has now been designed that is available in various colours and colour combinations. The cheery yet sturdy railings were galvanised by Verzinkerij Wolvega and powder coated by Poedercoating Wolvega, and are particularly suitable for fencing in play areas for children.
